The new and improved magnetic mould and deckle design is finally here, and ready to work for you, now in 4-Bar size with eight sheets in one. This two piece papermaking tool is heavily coated in marine epoxy, each piece (mould and deckle) is buffed to a super smooth finish, and fitted with magnets to gently hold the deckle in place on top of the mould. The basic “student” mould design (flush mount) is truly elevated to a luxurious and long lasting papermaking tool with that magnetic detail. Pretty brilliant, if I do say so myself… The poly screen is heat shrinkable, and very durable. Pulp just slides off of like a dream, and the thick epoxy edge along the mould gives a beautiful crisp edge to each sheet. I’m slightly obsessed with those pretty brass screws, in case you were wondering. Such a joy to use, and should last a lifetime with proper care.

Choose between a natural epoxy finish, which shows off the beauty of the wood, or the black stained version if you like to work with heavy pigments.
